What Your Child Will Benefit

Well-rounded education

Our goal is to give your child a well-rounded education, which exposes children to a wide range of subjects (curricular and extracurricular) that broaden their perspective and knowledge. This education will help your child develop 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking, etiquette and public speaking, creativity and innovation, global awareness, and tech-savvy. Ultimately, our well-rounded education prepares your child for a variety of careers by providing a strong foundation of knowledge and skills.

Award-winning teachers

By enrolling your child in our secondary school, your child will be trained by experienced and award-winning teachers who make learning fun and easy to understand for students. The awards that some of our teachers recently won include the Maltina Teacher of the Year Award, Inspirational Teacher of the Year Award, and Cambridge Dedicated Teacher Award.

Child-centered learning

We understand that each child has his or her own unique learning style (such as visual, auditory, reading and writing, and kinesthetic). Our aim is to help your child discover his or her best learning method, as well as talents and career path.

Thinking School education

Greensprings School is the first school in Nigeria to be certified by Thinking Matters as a Thinking School. We got the certification after fully integrating Thinking School methodology into our curriculum, and as a result of this integration, your child gets to learn the art of critical thinking and problem-solving.

Service learning

To help your child make connections between what is learnt in the classroom and real-world experiences, he or she will be engaged in our service learning programme. This programme involves volunteering to serve in a company or an NGO, running a food drive, involvement in school recycling program, among others. The goal is to help your child acquire marketable skills and work experience, while contributing to the development of their local community.

What You Should Expect

Our secondary school starts with Key Stage 3: Years 7, 8 and 9. These years build on the knowledge, understanding and skills that students have developed in their primary education. In Year 10, the students start the two years International General Certificate in Education (IGCSE) program which prepares them for pre-university courses both in Nigeria and abroad. IGCSE results are accepted both globally and in Nigeria

Our classrooms are equipped with ultra-modern learning and teaching facilities, so we provide a stimulating and enjoyable learning environment for your child to develop the cognitive ability to grasp things easily.

Five Learner Attributes

We nurture our secondary school students to have the following five learner attributes: 1. Confident in working with information and ideas – their own and those of others; 2. Responsible for themselves, responsible to and respectful of others; 3. Reflective as learners, developing their ability to learn; 4. Innovative and equipped for new and future challenges; 5. Engaged intellectually and socially, and ready to make a difference.

Sports Facilities

A list of our sports facilities includes 3 football pitches, 4 tennis courts, 2 swimming pools, 2 basketball courts, 4 table-tennis tables and a badminton court, etc.

Boarding Facilities

Located in a serene environment, our boarding offers a home-away-from-home experience for students. The boarding environment is tailored towards preparing your child for adult life.

The hostels have a central area equipped with Wi-Fi internet, where students can come together to study and socialize. Adult supervision is guaranteed as we have experienced live-in boarding house parents.

Contributions to Sports Development in Nigeria

Our Lekki campus is designated as the "Centre of Excellence in Sports," and this is due to its continuous contribution towards sports development in Nigeria. Through a partnership with Nwankwo Kanu, the former Super Eagles player, we arrange the annual Greensprings Kanu Football Camp, which holds on the campus. And two alumni of the football camp, Jubril Azeez and Light Eke, were recently called up into the Nigerian Golden Eaglets squad

Aside from the football camp, we also run a football academy through a partnership with Southampton Football Club in England. If your child loves football, our Lekki campus will provide him or her the avenue to get top-class football training that would improve his or her tactical skills. The academy will also carry out customized evaluations aimed at helping your child identify career pathways in sports and allied industries.

What Parents Are Saying

Alumni Speaks

I learnt the value of hard work in Greensprings. I usually stay up late till 2am to study. This way, It wasn't difficult for me to study in medical school. Greensprings taught me confidence. Greensprings taught me boldness.

Dr. Lara Oyadotun

The teachers, to me, made the experience. They were very competent. One thing about Greensprings is that they've always invested consistently in the development of their teachers. For us, these were the people who actually made the experience.
